My home for all seasons…
The Southwark has a heartbeat, a movement, and a pounding. It appears in every music, market, and in every generosity that we perform. My Southwark is living, from the park trees to the townhouses. Southwark is a diversified area, and we’re fond of all that. Through multiplicity may the most spectacular varieties of creative innovations emerge. Our community is made up of young sprouts and old oak trunks with colourful fall leaves. It is the laughter of excitement and the jollity of old recollections and knowledge and understanding. Autumn leaves, like soft vessels, surf the air with such elegance. However, as we shift from summer to autumn, the october petals continue to spread like the heat was still at its peak. The garden is a golden, mauve, and gold accented chaos.Visiting my favoured café, a smallish place, became a way of bringing happiness into my life. Alluring fantasies waft across the cafe atmosphere. My safe place is the coffee shop, with its warm latte, foam art, and peaceful tunes. Food has been one of the ways we communicated with one another about how much we cared. As I stepped into the well known Borough market… The saturated colours of the food alluded to its freshness and the rich flavours that were expected to come. The bread I had had a crispness to the edge, and the middle had that nourishing taste of grain. This reminded me of home.
As fall gave way to winter, I glanced up, to see the Christmas lights decorated all over the street. The winter environment, despite how freezing it is, is softened by the richest fall browns, each covered with a sparkling bright ice.Evening sweeps here in Southwark the calm of darkening blues, always alive, constantly with a beating heartbeat. The cold chill draws us within, Christmas season ties its ice tune around my open palm just like a glove, calling one’s inner fire. My appreciation for the winter wonderland arises mainly from the idea that there will be a hot chocolate stall to come to, a stall with yellow tinted lights from the heater and multiple food stalls to explore with my loved ones. Christmas, we are all gathered at home and at the fireplace, in Southwark. There’s just something unique about spending the holiday season at home, finding the special in the commonplace.I imagine we have this unique time to slow down and forever be grateful living in the current place and moment as we cherish each other. Even Though my Christmas may not consist of a big dinner feast, I still enjoyed the local pizza we ordered. Whilst munching, my friends sat among the pizza boxes, watching netflix and chilling.
Looking out my apartment window, the darkness is defeated, the light during Christmas shines throughout the streets and city which made my smile lid up. Happy moments like this nourish us, help us forget about the bad times and reassure us that our relationship was significant and valuable. Security is an essential component of love, together with developing and appreciating one another. I am completely at ease in Southwark because we are a great fit, since what the area has to offer is what the others and I need. Cozy as an impression is one of the most unappreciated emotions, but after I’ve reached Southwark, I now know that this is my second home.
